Is RealBricks Legit? An Honest 2026 Review
Short answer: RealBricks is a real platform selling SEC-qualified offerings. "Legit" does not mean "low risk". Here is what to know.
What RealBricks actually is
RealBricks is a fractional real estate platform. Instead of buying a whole house, you buy shares in a single-family rental property. According to its public materials, each property is held by its own legal entity, and you own shares of that entity, not the house itself.
Is it regulated?
RealBricks offers securities through Regulation A+ offerings. That means an offering statement was filed with the SEC and "qualified". Qualification is not an endorsement: the SEC does not vouch for the investment or its performance. The point is that you get standardized disclosures (the offering circular) you can read before investing.
The numbers that matter
- Minimum: $100 per transaction (10 shares at $10 each).
- Fees: platform and property-level fees apply. Check the current fee schedule and each offering circular before you buy.
- Ongoing costs: asset management and monthly property management fees, disclosed in each property's offering documents.
- Payouts: if a property earns positive net income and the entity chooses to distribute it, investors receive a proportional share, typically quarterly. Distributions are never guaranteed.
What to be skeptical about
- Liquidity. RealBricks' own site says a secondary market may become available in the future and that liquidity is not guaranteed. Treat shares as a long-term holding you may not be able to sell quickly.
- Concentration. The property list is limited and clustered in a few areas (current offerings include Memphis, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; and Princeton, Texas). That is much less diversified than a fund.
- Track record. The platform is young. Reviews are mixed, with praise for the low entry point and criticism of the gap between marketing and operations.
Who it may suit, and who should skip it
It can make sense if you want a small, long-term, hands-off position in rental property and accept that the money may be tied up for years. It is a poor fit if you may need the cash soon, or if you want broad diversification in a single purchase. In that case, see our RealBricks vs REITs comparison.
How to check it yourself
- Open the offering circular for the specific property and read the risk factors and fee sections.
- Add up fees (platform, asset management, property management) against the expected rent.
- Start with the $100 minimum and only invest money you can leave alone.

Frequently asked questions
Is RealBricks legit?
It is a real platform offering SEC-qualified Regulation A+ securities. That does not make it risk-free: returns are not guaranteed and shares can be hard to sell.
Does RealBricks guarantee returns?
No. Distributions depend on each property's income and are not guaranteed. You can lose money.
Can I sell my RealBricks shares any time?
Do not count on it. RealBricks says a secondary market may become available in the future and that liquidity is not guaranteed, so plan for a long hold.
